      Hello there. I have been drinking 3 Ballerina Tea for almost a year, every single day. I can tell you all about it. I will summarize here, email me at sdoane5@cox.net if you have questions. Basically the tea is designed to be a colon “roto-rooter” that will clean out your digestive tract. It does this because the tea is made from chinese herbs that 1) are a a super lubricant that can get through the colon quickly, get around anything in its way, and 2) the tea is not ingestible, meaning it will not be absorbed into your digestive tract, therefore the ONLY thing it can do is aid in getting food through you.

      I had a chronic “slow bowel” that affected movement of food so badly, I was taking nexium because I woke up every morning with a stomach pain that the Dr said was too much stomach acid, was really my super slow digestive tract that stopped even my stomach from draining normally during the night. I could go on about my symptoms, but in short the tea completely cleans out my digestive tract every day now, and I am off nexium with no problems. For me it is a wonder drug, as it cost my only US per box as opposed to for nexium.
      Regarding losing weight, heres the thing. I have managed to GAIN weight by tea every day. The thing is, IF you are going to diet and eat only a few handfuls of food every day, I highly recommend the tea at least 2 times per week to keep your digestive tract clean. The tea’s ability to make you lose weight is due to the fact that if you drank a little every meal, for example, it would prevent much of the food you eat with it to be absorbed and would pass though as mush. Try it and you’ll see for yourself.
      Here are some important facts though: 1) if you follow the directions and boil the water, put the tea bag into a cup with water and cover the cup and really brew it full strength, this stuff is POWERFUL, and for some people gives them pain in the gut as this stuff runs through them. If it is too strong, you can brew a full cup, dilute with water, you can put the rest away in the fridge, drink it cold, it will still be good. Another PLUS: sorry if I gross anyone out, but my slow colon meant I had chronic gas because gas is undigested sugers in the colon.       I have taken it for a week and loss 5.6 pounds. I think the weight loss will be different for each person. Although I am not a medical doctor and am not giving medical advice, I chose to drink lots of water as well as eat fresh fruits and vegetables as well as working out for 30 minutes a minimum of 3 days per week. I cut out junk food, sugar, and carbs(bread, cookies, pasta). I would warn people not to just take the tea by itself, since your bowels will be loose(diarrhea) and you will be losing water. This worked for me as a cleansing and I believe it’s possible you can lose weight on a short term diet. I am using this for another week to see what sort of results I get, take a break from it, and then start up again. I have 25 pounds to lose.

      I don’t know of any crash diets (and I hear they’re not good for you) but I applaud that you are already living a healthy lifestyle by being a vegi. I would suggest chinese diet tea, found in any asian grocery. I tried a brand called “Three Ballerina” I will warn you, it contains senna which is a herbal stimulant. You will experience dirreah the first few days, but after only two days of drinking two cups a day, I lost an inch off my waist, two pounds and two inches off my hips.

    i was 152 pounds on 2007 and i decided to loose weight at that time i was 14 years old i used a tea called 3 ballerina tea without diet or exercise i drank 2 cups of it a day for a week and 4 days and i lost 9 pounds them after i stop drinking it i decided to eat only one meal a day for a month and exercise like 3 times a week i lost 24 pounds that month i didnt drink much water and after i started eating normally i gained 2 pounds which means i turned 130 them summer came and i putted 4 pounds for the lack of exercise or movements because i stood the whole summer in my house so them i ate watever i wanted i even ate alot of muffins before bed or ate some really grease sandwich with alot of bacon and egg before bed or in the morning i even ate alot of mcdonals meals like a whole week eating a meal of mcdonal plus the food i ate at home i never gained a pound i stood 134 pounds for along time till now 2009 on july1 i decided to loose weight again my my height in does year was 5 ft now that im 123 pounds my i grew one inch. im down to 123 pounds eating alittle calorie like from 600 to 1400 thats the highest i went eating a day i ate lots of vegetables and fruits now i started exercising because i need to get down to 110 before september 9th so 8/3 i started water fasting and exercising 1 hour a day yesterday was my 15 day exercising for an hour and walking 3 to 4 miles everyday for 15 days straight today i gave up on my fast so that means im starting again tomorrow i had to give up because my period came so i got too weak and too hungry but people say that all does things i did like eating less than 1000 cal a day slows my metabolism oh and im a pear shape and i want to know if i will gain weight because i fasted for 2 days and today i ate alot but im starting again 2morrow im fasting for 2 weeks and them i will juice fast for a week and i will start eating fruits and vegetables and go up 100 cal every week till i get to 1000 a day so can you tell what kind of metabolism i have and im afraid of putting weight after the fast i water fasted before but the longest was 3 days

      It’s not just you, lol! I am drinking it too, I’ve lost 7 pounds in a week. I had to take a break today because I was in pain and going so often. I’d say take a break for a day or 2 if I were you, as well. It’s an excellent diet tea that should be used with caution. The main ingredient Chinese Mallow is known to cause dependency and Senna has the same effect. Also, make sure you drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. It does have a laxative effect but which is very cleansing and very healthful when used correctly. I read a review where someone lost 24 pounds in a month and I look forward to the same progress… Cheers!

If u want a cookie, only eat 2. if u want ice cream, only eat 1 scoop (or just order the ice cream sunday cup at mcdonalds, thats a fair serving size. STOP eatting cones. its too many calories. NO bowls either.), etc. manage ur serving sizes and try to only eat those kindda snacks when ur gonna do some walking or exersize so u’ll burn up what u eat.

      Thats the reason we’re fat, mind you. We eat more than our metabolism can burn up so that extra food gets stored.

      Only eat what u can burn up, and then after that just eat popcorn and fruit. Be sure to go for walks to get some cardio in. Any type of cardio will help. Cardio is the only way to exersize and loose weight
      p.s.– if u wanted to eat pizza, you’d have to remove the cheese and meat and only eat the crust so its a waste of money.

      Almonds help burn belly fat. eat 28 a day. if u eat more than 28, you’ll get fat. almonds have good natural fats and oils the body need and eating 28 of them can make u feel full and replace a meal for u.

      Eat sunflower seeds, its the same effect that the plain popcorn has. Chew on those if u just feel like chewing on something. avoid gum, even trident.

      use Spenda, Sucralose, or Aspartame in your food and drinks. (it may be nasty at first, but once ur taste buds adjust to it, it’ll be DELICIOUS.)
      Only eat baked patatoe chips, and Murray’s sugar free cookies. eat dry fruit

      AVOID CEREAL BARS…they’ll make u fatter.
      get more home cooked meals, prefferably alot of beans.

      Avoid Hi-C. a beverage can make u extremely fat. it can be like eating an extra meal.

    Severe Constipation…Please Help?
    My mother has had intestinal problems since she was born. Her intestines are actually in knots. She has horrible debilitating constipation everyday. Recently she had spinal surgery, which is very painful to recover from, and is on pain medication, which make the constipation so much worse. Currently she is taking 3 Ballerina Senna tea-two bags steeped for 45 minutes, 6 herbal laxatives, a tall glass of prune juice, and a tall glass of Metamucil. She is also on a strict diet.

    Nothing seems to help with the constipation. So I’m asking two questions: #1. Does anyone know of a pain medication that doesnt cause constipation. #2. Does anyone know of a strong laxative that I havnt already heard of.

The tea’s ability to make you lose weight is due to the fact that if you drank a little every meal, for example, it would prevent much of the food you eat with it to be absorbed and would pass though as mush. But the food you eat hours after you drink the tea will still absorb normally, so there’s no fear drinking one cup per day and eating 3 meals that it is bad for you or that you will lose too much weight. Try it and you’ll see for yourself.
      Here are some important facts though: 1) if you follow the directions and boil the water, put the tea bag into a cup with water and cover the cup and really brew it full strength, this stuff is POWERFUL, and for some people gives them pain in the gut as this stuff runs through them. If it is too strong, you can brew a full cup, dilute with water, you can put the rest away in the fridge, drink it cold, it will still be good. This stuff was ALMOST too strong for me when I started, but I got used to it as it was still the best thing for my slow bowel. WARNING: If you take this full strength it is so strong, that when it is “time” you had better be near a bathroom, and be prepared to “go” 2 maybe 3 times in one hour as the roto rooter affect occurs. A “Lifer” such as myself I take it every day around noon to 3PM, so that I’ll be home at night when the plumber knocks. The tea takes from 4 hours to 12 hours to work depending on your personal eating habits. TIP: Take this tea the day before you do certain things like Flying, boating, anything where it is not condusive to use restrooms. Another PLUS: sorry if I gross anyone out, but my slow colon meant I had chronic gas because gas is undigested sugers in the colon.       I know how to treat them because i have almost if not completely gotten rid of mine. They are also called chicken skin.

      I’ve had them for about 6 years, they were on my upper arms, back of my thights and butt. Before my wedding i desided that is is time to get rid of them. You need to get those gloves they sell to exfoliate your skin. I also made myself a special soap to use with those gloves. I had got rid of them about 50%. What they are is skin cells they just grow weird. If you use those gloves everyday they will get better.

      Make sure to still get 1200 calories, whatever you do, or your body will eat your muscle and store all calories as fat. Your metabolism will slow down because you don’t have that muscle, and it’s just a bad cycle.

      Cut out sodas (diet and regular), and sweetened coffees and teas.
      Eat at least 5 fruits and veggies every day, and eat as many colors as you can. Get them fresh when you can, steamed is next best, then frozen, then canned. When you get into canned they often add salt, fat, and/or sugar.
      Eat whole grains (read labels for whole wheat or whole grain as the FIRST ingredient).
      Cut foods with ingredients that read “enriched,” “high fructose,” “sugar,” or “hydrgenated” in the first five ingredients on food labels.
      Eat low fat meats.
      Drink 2-3 cups of skim milk/day.
      8-12 cups of water/day.

My game plan is two ride my bike for 30 minutes do my biggest loser workout for 55 minutes in the morning and again at night. Eating would require fruits and veggies, water and a lot of green tea and ballerina tea, eliminating all sugars, salts, and carbs. If i do this for 21 days straight could i loose 20 lbs, and what other dieting advice do you guys have so i can make the weight loose better. Thank you sooooo much. Also most of the weight is in my thighs so any diet foods to get rid of the actual fat on my thighs would help me thanks :)

      Congratulations my sweet little friend, on taking the first step to achieving your dream of becoming a ballerina! The first step in achieving goals are to formulate a detailed plan with specific steps in mind, so let’s get started!
      Since you are 5’0″ tall and you weigh 140 lbs. now, you are taking in approximately 2112 calories a day to maintain or stay at that weight. Since you need to lose 40-45 pounds by July 1, 2010, you will have to go on an extreme fat loss program. You will need to cut your daily caloric intake down to 1267 calories per day, and you will have to add vigorous exercise every day as well to reach your goal weight by July 1st. That is a tall order for anyone to do, but I have all the faith in the world that you can accomplish this because you really, really want to be a ballerina.
      Each pound contains 3500 calories. If you decrease your daily caloric intake to 1267 calories per day, this will give you a weight loss of 2 pounds per week. If you started this today however, you would not reach your goal of 95-100 pounds until August 1, 2010, and that is four weeks too late for you. The answer to this is that you will have to burn up additional calories through exercise every day.
      Since you will start your dancing training soon, you will already be burning calories. You will need to add additional exercise such as swimming, walking at a fast pace, bicycling or running. Probably you should start out slow if you are not exercising at all, maybe with walking for 30 minutes in the morning before school and 1 hour in the evenings after you eat supper. Any physical activities that you add will just aid you in burning off the fat. If you burn off 500 extra calories per day in exercise (and that’s quite a bit of activity!), you will burn off an extra pound per week (500 cal. X 7 days = 3500 cal. or 1 pound). This is a trick that Olympic athletes use every day, and it will help you and keep you excited about sticking to your plan.

    How do I do a three-day fast? I have no juicer?
    Okay so I am starting a “lifestyle” plan (not a specific diet) and exercise plan when I return to school, but I want to start it off with 72 hours of fasting. This would start on a Thursday night at 6:00 pm, and end Sunday night at 6:00 pm.
    The problem is, I don’t have a juicer (and am not interested in purchasing one) and it’s not generally safe or healthy to water-fast for three days. Does anyone know how to safely juice fast, and what kinds of juices to consume, and in what quantities?

    Why am I always hungry?
    I’m a ballerina, so I have to be very careful about over eating.

    I eat lots of little things constantly through outbthe day. Kind of like grazing. I don’t have 3 big meals, I’ve been sticking with the 6-7 little meals.
    I drinks lotsnof water and lots of tea.

    My diet has lots of supposedly filling things like yogurt, granola, crackers, nuts, v8 juice, green tea, coffee, protein shake (soy based) chicken or fish. Sometimes I’ll make collard greens….

    I dunno what I’m doing, or eating, wrong. I just always feel like I want more!!!

    And honestly, I’m not even burning THAT many calories in ballet. I’ve only been taking about one class a day since I’m in academic college, so that’s only about 300 calories burned a day…

    I’d just like to point out to Sandra, that you are completely wrong.
    When the body goes into starvation mode, it can go 8 whole weeks running off of stored fat alone. It is only after that it will start to take from the muscle. That’s is e whole idea behind dieting, you eat fewer calories, you’ll burn your extra fat.
    I’m an anatomy and physiology student, and whole “eating less than 1000 calories makes you gain weight” is simply false.

      I’ve discovered that when I’m hungry all the time, I’m low on iron and Vitamin b’s. When I take iron & vitamin B complex supplements the hunger goes away.

    Help! I am obese and NEED to lose the weight. What CAN I do?
    I am 27 and about 70 lbs overweight, Growing up, I was always into extracurricular activities and sports (dance, cheer, soccer…) In college, my Dr. recommended that I stop taking dance classes because I had bad knees, so I did. Over the next few years, I have tried several methods thinking they would help a little or a lot if I had combined some of them. I stopped drinking soda for 4 months, I was an active member at a local gym for THREE years going anywhere from 3-6 days/week (didn’t lose weight and I had a PERSONAL TRAINER for a several months too), I had a nutritionist, I tried curves, Slimfast, Hydroxy-cut, Ballerina Green Tea, Michael Thurmond’s 6 Week Body Makeover Weight Loss Program, Weight Watchers, I cut out carbs, I was in Jazzercise….nothing seemed to work :( I can understand if I laid on the couch all day and stuffed my face, but that just ISN’T the case. I am far from lazy and do not eat as horrible as some people. I have been tested for Thyroid disease, twice and by two different Dr.’s…it’s not that either.
    I have ALWAYS been a determined individual with anything, including weight loss, but I have just given up hope, and given up on myself.
    People say I am attractive, but what they really mean is, just my face. I always hide my body from even my own husband, we don’t even shower together.. I want to, but I feel SO UNCOMFORTABLE. He’s so adorable and has a sexy body, but I just feel so ugly sometimes.

      The best and most effective way to lose weight is to simply eat good foods and count your calories. You can have a piece of cake sometimes, but you must consider how many calories it is and sacrifice elsewhere. You can eat what you want just don’t eat more than you allot yourself in a day (I would recommend starting off with 1200 calories a day) Diets don’t work. Once you’re off the diet, the weight comes back. Counting calories does work because you’re not on a diet and you still can have a cookie or whatever, you just do the math. The other thing that will help you ward off hunger is to drink a big glass of water before each meal. You really should be drinking water all day long, but add an extra glass before meals or when you’re hungry. If you do this, you WILL lose weight and you will be successful at keeping it off. I can tell that this is important to you, so I’m confident that you’ll do it : )

    Ok so no one make fun of me please!!! I am over weight. I gained like a whole friggin 30 pounds over summer from lack of dance. (now I weigh 160 yikes!!! and I ‘m only 13.) I gained it because of lack of dance and now I am starting it back up again and I’m embaressed to be seen in my leos. I need a good way to get back in shape and FAST.       Water really helps, drink about 8 glasses (DON’T drink tons and tons of water, though, because you could get water intoxication) throughout the entire day and I find that it really lowers your appetite when a meal comes around. I’ve lost 3 pounds recently just from doing that.

      Only eat until your 80% full. Also, make sure that at least half your plate is full of salad, vegetables, or fruit. You must eat lots of vegetables and fruits every day!! Don’t eat dessert, because chances are that it either contains a whole lot of fat and/or a whole lot of sugar. Try to eat your fruits (bigger variety the better) earlier in the day, because they contain sugar (which turns into carbs) so then you’ll have the entire day to burn it off.

      Go for a run everyday, just around the neighbourhood. But don’t push yourself at first. If you feel the need to walk, then walk, just don’t take a break. Sooner or later you will be able to run a much longer distance. If running is not your thing at all, then if you must, you can speed walk for about 45 minutes per day, even though running is much more effective.

      Green tea is also very good for you, I drink it everyday along with lots of water. I don’t know if it has anything to do with weight, but it has antioxidents that are good for you and your skin.

      Limit your bread intake! Bread is very high in carbs and carbs turn into fat. Eat at most two, whole grain bread slices in the morning along with a whole lot of fruit so you’ll burn it off during the day. It also wouldn’t hurt to have a bowl of bran cereal every breakfast, too. I can’t even stress how important fibre is for the body. Going number 2 to the bathroom every day once or twice is good for the body, as long as your not having diaherrhea, etc. It also minuses a pound or two.

      Meat is good for gaining muscle, but it is also very high in fat sometimes. Eat small piece of meat (steak, fish etc.) about the size of a deck of cards. Not everyday, though, since you are trying to lose weight but gain muscle.

      Exercise A LOT, and include variety. You can find work out routines etc. over the internet. Don’t only just go for a run everyday, but throw something else in there, like some strength training exercises or yoga.

      BE PATIENT. Chance are you won’t be able to lose all the weight before dance starts again (you are human, after all) but be patient. If you eat all the right foods and portions that I discussed above, along with exercising on your own time and going to dance, hopefully you should get back to your original weight.

      One last thing, don’t starve yourself. It’s really horrible for you body and your metabolism, it truly is. It’ll mess up your metabolism (make it slower, a.k.a fatter, when you stop crash dieting) and eat away at your muscle, so don’t do it!
